Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information TextAura (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit textaura.art (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the whole Site, including every font generator, symbol page, name generator and text tool.

1. Summary

  • You can use every tool on TextAura without creating an account or signing in.
  • The text you type into our tools is converted in your browser. It is not sent to or stored on our servers, unless you choose to share a link that contains it.
  • We only collect personal information that you choose to send us, such as a contact form message, plus basic technical data that every website receives.
  • We do not currently use analytics or advertising services. If we add them, they will only run with your consent where the law requires it.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

2. Who we are

TextAura is the website at textaura.art. TextAura is responsible (the “data controller”) for the personal information described in this policy. For any question about this policy or your personal information, email admin@textaura.art or use our contact form.

3. Information we collect

Text you enter into tools

Our font generators, symbol tools, name generators, font mixer, word counter and case converter run in your browser using JavaScript. The text you type, the styles you pick and the results you copy stay on your device. We do not receive, read or store them.

Share links

Some tools have a Share button that creates a link with your text inside it. If you share that link, anyone who has it can see the text. When the link is opened, our server receives the page address like any other page request, so the text in the link may appear in standard server logs. Do not put private information in a share link.

Downloads and images

When you download a card as an image or save text as a .txt file, the file is created in your browser and saved straight to your device. It does not pass through our servers.

Information you send us

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the subject and your message. We use this only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. The form includes simple anti-spam checks, such as a hidden field and a timing check, which do not collect any extra personal information.

Data stored on your device

We use your browser’s local storage to remember your settings, such as light or dark theme, favorite styles, recently copied styles, preview size, view mode and the last social preview you opened. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Technical and log data

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. We use this data for security, to prevent abuse and to keep the Site running. Our login security tool also records the IP address of failed sign-in attempts to the admin area, so it can block attacks. This only affects people who try to log in.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, including one set by our cookie consent tool that remembers your choice for up to 365 days. Site administrators who log in also receive WordPress login cookies; visitors do not. If we use analytics or advertising cookies in the future, they will only run with your consent where the law requires it. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie icon at the bottom of every page. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

4. Analytics

We do not currently use analytics services such as Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. If we add one in the future to understand which tools are popular and which pages need work, it will only run after you give consent through our cookie banner where required, and we will update this policy before it goes live.

5. Advertising

To keep TextAura free, we plan to show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are not running yet. When ads are enabled, the following applies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
  • To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized ads.

6. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • provide, maintain and improve the Site and its tools;
  • reply to your messages and requests;
  • understand problems and fix bugs;
  • protect the Site against spam, fraud and abuse;
  • show advertising that helps keep TextAura free, once ads are enabled.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

7. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on these legal bases:

  • Consent: for analytics and advertising cookies, once used. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: for replying to messages you send us, security, preventing abuse and improving the Site.
  • Legal obligations: where we must keep or disclose information by law.

8. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • with service providers that help us run the Site, such as our hosting provider, our email provider and, once enabled, advertising providers;
  • when the law requires it, such as a valid legal request;
  • to protect the rights, safety and property of TextAura, our users or others.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than the one you live in. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by those providers.

10. Data retention

  • Contact form messages and emails: kept for up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Server logs: kept for a limited period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
  • Login security records: kept only as long as needed to block repeated attacks.
  • Cookie consent choice: kept for up to 365 days, or until you clear your cookies.
  • Local storage settings: kept on your device until you clear them.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and California privacy laws such as the CCPA, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct or delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • receive a copy of it (data portability);
  • withdraw consent at any time;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent.

To make a request, email admin@textaura.art or use our contact form with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request. We will reply within the time the law requires, usually within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

12. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not run analytics, advertising or other tracking today, there is no tracking for Do Not Track signals to switch off. Once ads or analytics are added, we will treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, where the law requires it.

13. Children’s privacy

TextAura is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, protected admin logins with limits on failed attempts, and regular software updates to protect the Site. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

15. Third-party links

Our pages may link to other websites and apps, such as social platforms and games. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Site or the law changes, for example when we enable ads or analytics. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be noted on this page.

17. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, email admin@textaura.art or use our contact form. You can also read our Terms of Service, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer.
